Ursa Major

Mathatsara - Bell, The pulp paper pendant. The lampshades are made of recycled magazine paper mixed with color pigments. The downspout of key lighting is warming from the gilded interior finish. I love the organic form of this lamp. Made in France.

One of a Kind - 1st Dibs - Antique Red Majolica Earthenware. From the 19th Century. An impressive large scale antique pedestal Majolica vase decorated in red glazes with winged god handles, moulded scroll and leaf designs. I have a thing for footed vessels. ha. This one is a thing of beauty.

McQueen - Vintage. A few years ago. Suede Fringe Boot. You had me at long fringe. She had pretty shoes and told me i had my father’s feet. ha. which is funny to hear as a little. She was referring to him being light on his toes. He would drop the needle on the record and I would stand on his feet and we would dance together. I love thinking about that. :)

Kastehelm - Footed Cereal Bowl, perhaps. The name meaning dewdrop. Designed by Oiva Toikka in 1964. Made in Finland. This is for my Cheerios.

From humble beginnings as a small glass factory, today Iittala offers a wide variety of modern Scandinavian housewares that demonstrate the company's commitment to design quality and product longevity.

Missoni - The Missoni Chair. The sleek streamlined frame is paired with colorful flame stitch, identifiably Missoni fabric. Made in Italy.

One of a Kind - Qianlong Hand-painted Glazed Porcelain Bowl. 18th Century Chinese Qianlong, or earlier, porcelain bowl. This would look pretty filled with clementines.

Martyn Lawrence Bullard - Lisbon Bed - This is a pretty well crafted reproduction of 17th century Indo-Portuguese antique four poster. This one is ebonized alder. The antique ones are usually carved from solid rosewood.

SFERRA - Chianni Pillow - Simple and tailored embroidered line windowpane design on navy linen. I just love these.
